Pankaj, would you mind sharing where the jatra happened/ happens? I think it moves from one village to another across MH. I tried a lot to get some information on where to go to capture jatra, but could not succeed – I’m not a localite in Pune.

Jatra is not the thing which moves or travels from place to place. In fact it is a term collectively refers to the annual festival of the local deities and some "mela" which is arranged aligned with that. The dates varies from village to village and they are based on the lunar calendars. The jatra here in this album was on "Chaitra-Pournima" and the day later. So you need to ask local villagers about the jatras nearby.
